Newsletter Winter 2015

The leading article by incoming Newsletter Editor, Sam Ross, is tinged with sad news of the passing of Roy Dommett, without whose knowledge and inspiration many of us would never have shared with him the ‘Joy of Morris’. Fortunately Roy was able to witness the celebration of the 40th Anniversary of The Morris Federation at the Bath Day of Dance. Several teams have carried our morris traditions beyond our shores – as far afield as Alaska and India. Reports of these trips and other visits to Europe appear in this issue, together with articles about some spectacular events in this country.
