Although an ageing membership may be an on-going concern for some long-established sides, it is very pleasing to feature in this issue several articles which focus on youth, in one way or another. The JMO Day of Dance is a collaborative event organised in turn by one of the three morris organisations in the UK – The Morris Federation, The Morris Ring, and Open Morris. The day of dance is a celebration of morris and traditional dancing held annually at a different location around the UK.

Morris Federation Day of Dance and AGM 2016

The Morris Federation and Mortimer’s Morris extend a warm welcome to all members of the Federation to join us in a day of dance in Nottingham on Saturday 24 September 2016, followed by the Morris Federation AGM at 4.30pm (4pm sign-in) at the Canalhouse. Please note that applications to the day of dance are now closed, but all members are still welcome to come and watch the dancing and to join us at the AGM.
