Editorial

I hope that the ‘stand-in’ Newsletter Editor (ie.me!) is making sure that the MF Newsletter is living up to the standard set by Jude Barrett & Andy Anderson, and that you the reader are used to. This is now my second attempt, and it doesn’t get any easier!

That said … I have enjoyed reading and collecting articles, reviews and information to include in the newsletter. This quarter sees some wonderful pieces from Adrian (Archive Officer) including a letter from Rolf Gardiner written in 1939.

From the workshop reviews you will see that they have been very successful again, and hopefully the two planned for the Autumn will be just as well attended and enjoyed. I was fascinated by Jerry West’s review of the Wantage Weekend.
There surely can’t be any other dance-weekend to rival that one!

Please continue to send reviews, articles, information and photographs to me. They really do make a difference when compiling the newsletter … also any snippets or ‘Morris in the media’ that you come across that will help to keep the newsletter ‘newsworthy’!

Happy reading .. .

Nicola
