Editorial

In this winter issue, there’s lots of news and information about events going on next year, to give you lots of advance warning for planning the new season! Hastings Jack in the Green, Upton May Festival, Scarborough Fayre, and Morris Federation workshops.

Of interest to lots of people is the often cloudy issue of funding. Paul Hudson of Inclognito has been good enough to give a blow by blow account of how his side were awarded a grant from the Millennium Festival Awards for All scheme. John Bacon has information about funding, and Three Shires also make reference to the same award scheme in their birthday report.

There is sad news of the deaths of Roy Judge and Ian Hamilton, both in November.

But most important of all, the quest to find a new logo for the Federation, let us have your ideas ….

Wishing you all a good winter season.

Jude Barrett
