Topic Pack for Schools #BuzzingBritain
This Morris Federation pack is designed for KS2 to be used in a number of different ways:
A scheme of cross curricular topic work for a year group;
- A themed topic week for one or more classes including creating a show at the end with a mummers play, Morris Dancing performance and costumes;
- A themed topic day for one or more classes;
- Show what you have done in a class assembly or a show for family and friends;
- Flexibly in your own way;
- Extended use with information from the cross curricular document, e.g. creating a shadow play for the light unit in science and writing a play in English.
- The resources include differentiation which can adapt to year groups or within one year group/class.
Contents of the pack:
- A series of six lesson plans;
- Lesson resources including PowerPoint lessons and activity sheets;
- KS2 Differentiated maths word problems (calculators at the discretion of the teacher);
- KS2 Differentiated reading comprehension;
- Spelling list;
- Mummers play script;
- PE and cross curricular links document including further lesson ideas.
