This issue was not intentionally somewhat focussed on morris in America, but it just worked out that way. It may have been helped by a visit our team made to Marlboro Morris Ale in May of this year (which was wonderful) -and certainly that backed up the mentions of sheer enthusiasm and lively dancing in the States now but also a long history of the morris in America which we in England sometimes forget about. It’s also good to see a history of Mary Neal being issued following close on last year’s new Cecil Sharp biography. Hoping for a summer of moderate weather so we can all enjoy festivals and dancing.
