Joint Morris Organisations’ Day of Dance 2020 – cancelled
UPDATE: As a result of Covid 19, running the JMO DoD in Liverpool has become impractical, so the decision has been made to postpone the event until April 2021 (date tbc). We understand that many of you have already made plans and can only apologise for the problems this may cause.
The Joint Morris Organisations’ Day of Dance will take place on Saturday 18th April 2020 in Liverpool City Centre hosted by The Morris Ring in the North West.
Registration (inc. collecting tin/info pack allocation) from 9.15am is at Liverpool Central Library, William Brown Street L3 8EW (just across the road from Liverpool Lime Street Station, right hand side of St Georges Hall) where visiting sides will find women’s and men’s changing facilities, toilets, secure storage and a cafe. Early arrivals will find lots of great places to breakfast within a few minutes walk, and the city is blessed throughout with a cornucopia of really fine pubs and eateries.
The event starts at 10am at Liverpool One’s Sugar House Steps (outside John Lewis) with a welcome from the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, and ends at 4pm with a centrally located closing ceremony.
More information will be added as it becomes available, see: themorrisring.org/event/joint-morris-organisations-national-day-dance-2020
