At our AGM in Sheffield on Saturday 27th September 2025, we were pleased to grant Honorary Life Membership of The Morris Federation to Mike Heaney, following nomination by Jerry West on behalf of the Morris Federation Committee, in recognition of his work on the history of morris dancing .
On Sunday 4th January 2026, at a Chiltern Hundreds North West Clog Morris practice, Mike Heaney was presented his Honorary Life Membership certificate and badge by President Pauline Woods-Wilson, and the nomination read out by Jerry West, Notation Officer of the Morris Federation.
