A collection of 50 short videos of Morris Federation sides will be released during 2025.
The Morris Federation is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025. To celebrate this occasion during 2025 we will be publishing short videos which feature 50 Morris Federation sides.
The videos will be available on YouTube. In addition we will be inviting the featured sides to download videos of their side which they are free to use as they see fit: the videos could be uploaded to the side’s YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or similar video hosting account; posted on social media services such as Facebook; added to the side’s website – or used in other ways as the side sees fit!
Founded in 1956 as “Mendip Morris Men” we are now open to all. We perform Morris Dance around the North Somerset and Mendip areas.
Our repertoire is predominantly in the Cotswold style, but also includes a Border dance or two.
Many of our meetings, summer or winter, seem to end up in a pub – singing and making music.
We have a long history of travel to foreign events throughout Europe, as well as attendance at shows and festivals around Britain. New and prospective members are always welcome.
