Dr Turberville’s Morris (short video)

Featured side: Dr Turberville’s Morris

Dr Turberville’s Morris are an enthusiastic team of Cotswold dancers and musicians based at Ash Village Hall near Martock in Somerset. We wear white, with baldricks and ribbons of green and burgundy. You’ll often find us dressed as pirates when we’re dancing by the sea.

Many of our dances are of the self-penned Wayford tradition, but we also dance Badby, Bampton, Bledington, Hinton and Lichfield, with a handful of Border dances thrown in for fun. We like to focus on the details of the dance, while presenting as much joy and vigor as possible.
