In a brief flash of inspiration I thought it would be a great idea in this issue to have lots of pics of morris dancers performing as the Olympic torch passed through their particular patch, and I sent out a broadcast to request suitable photographs. Only problem, I subsequently realised, was that even by the publication date of the Newsletter, many parts of the country would still not have been visited by the flame.
So, we have a few early photographs and the rest will have to wait until next time. Other features of the Summer Newsletter include a couple of specially composed dances and two articles about morris costume, as well as Paul White’s regular column. Dodge the showers and enjoy your Summer’s dancing.
