SUMMARY:Morris Federation Day of Dance and AGM 2026 (Stoke-on-Trent)
DESCRIPTION:Welcoming you to Stoke-on-Trent \nThe Morris Federation and Domesday Morris extend a warm welcome to all members of The Morris Federation to join us in a Day of Dance on Saturday 26th September 2026 in Stoke-on-Trent\, followed by The Morris Federation’s AGM at 16.30 (16:00 sign-in). \nThe Day of Dance will include tours that include the likes of Gladstone Pottery Museum or Ford Green Hall\, and great pubs like The Glebe or The Holy Inadequate. \nThe day\, including the AGM\, will be based at Fenton Town Hall\, and from here there will be coach tours provided by Domesday showcasing some of the great industrial heritage of our city. The day will start with a chance to meet old friends and new while having a brew and light breakfast of oatcakes (of course!)  The coaches will collect sides from Fenton Town Hall\, with each tour including a morning\, lunch and afternoon dance stand\, featuring at least one historic pottery/industrial heritage site and one pub. \nSchedule for the Day \n\n8.45 – 9.45   Breakfast\n9.50 – 11.50   Morning Tour\n12:00 – 13:45  Lunch Tour (including lunch)\n14:00 – 15:45   Afternoon Tour\n16:00 onward AGM\n\n  \nDance Stands \nIncluding: \n\n\nFenton Town Hall\n\n\nSpode Pottery & Museum\n\n\nDudson Pottery\n\n\nMiddlePort pottery\n\n\nGladstone pottery\n\n\nFord Green Hall\n\n\n… and many more!\n\n\n  \nCosts \nThe total contribution is £20 per head\, covering coach travel\, breakfast and lunch.  We are limited to approximately 40 sides ( subject to the size of the teams) and will operate on a first come first served basis. \nMake a weekend of it \nThere will also be an informal music session on the Friday evening in the cafe of Fenton Town Hall\, as well as further dancing on the Sunday morning for sides who are eager for more! \nRegister \nTo register your side\, please complete this form BY 5TH SEPTEMBER! \nTeam registered (as at 2nd September) \nThe teams currently confirmed as attending are: \n\nBeverley Garland\nG&G Morris\nLeek Morris\nMockbeggar Morris\nMakeney Morris\nClerical Error\nIronmen & Severn Gilders\nMersey Morris\nBlack Adder Morris\nThree Spires Morris\nKnights of King Ina\nRivington Morris\nDomesday Morris\n\n  \nLooking forward to seeing you all! \n#MFAGM2026

DESCRIPTION:Joint Morris Organisations’ Day of Dance 2027 (Sheffield)\nThe JMO National Day of Dance is a collaborative event organised in turn by one of the three morris organisations in the UK – The Morris Federation\, The Morris Ring\, and Open Morris. The day of dance is a celebration of morris and traditional dancing held annually at a different location around the UK. \nIn 2027 the day of dance is on Saturday 10th April 2027 in Sheffield\, South Yorkshire\, hosted by Five Rivers Morris on behalf of the Morris Federation. \nFive Rivers Morris would love teams to think about staying for the whole weekend\, rather than just travelling in for the Saturday.  They are developing plans around the main Day of Dance\, which is likely to include music\, singing\, sessions\, workshops and other folk activity from Friday evening through to Sunday. \nMore info and how to book a place: \nFor all the details of the weekend and how to book a place\, see: https://fiveriversmorris.org.uk/jmo-day-of-dance-sheffield-2027/ \nBookings open until Friday 12th February 2027. \n#JMOSHEFFIELD #JMO2027
