Talk – Hastings Jack in the Green
Keith Leech will start with the history of the annual Hastings Jack in the Green event on the May Day Bank Holiday, with the background to how it started and has evolved, followed by a Q&A session on how to manage this type of event.
Keith is a long-time member of Mad Jack’s Morris and was instrumental in reviving the Jack in the Green tradition in Hastings and is a usually seen dressed as a “bogie” or green man, one of Jacks’ attendants, during the procession on the May Bank Holiday.
