The Morris Federation and Domesday Morris extend a warm welcome to all members of The Morris Federation to join us in a day of dance in Stoke-on-Trent, on Saturday 6th September 2025.
The Morris Federation and host teams are running a series of regional events to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Morris Federation, founded in 1975.

As a powerhouse of the industrial revolution, Stoke-on-Trent is famed for its pit, canals and pottery industry. It is also the birthplace of the iconic Spitfire and, of course, our oatcakes! We are rightly proud of our heritage and delighted to celebrate our city’s centenary with you.
Not only does a warm welcome await you, but there are fantastic dance-spots with a mixture of superb historic and modern locations, showcasing our city. The event will include filled oatcakes for breakfast to start the day and a packed lunch to keep you going.
There will be dance tours of the six towns which form the City of Stoke-on-Trent.
