Recording of the events are available on YouTube: \n\nLancashire Waltz – Clog Stepping for Beginners – 1 of 2 – Georgia Shorrock\, Hadrian Clog  2 January 2021\nLancashire Waltz – Clog Stepping for Beginners – 2 of 2 – Georgia Shorrock\, Hadrian Clog  9 January 2021\n\n \n \nTwo Workshops – Clog Stepping for Beginners\nGeorgia Shorrock of Hadrian Clog will teach a Clog Stepping routine over 2 weeks\, for those with some dance experience but that are absolute beginners to clog dancing.  If you fancy having a go\, Georgia will teach the basic steps along with some Lancashire Waltz steps so you will be able to dance your first clog routine. \nA series of 2 one hour teaching sessions (over Zoom) to build to the performance of a clog stepping routine. \nNo clog stepping experience is needed to join us for these sessions\, but a desire to learn and be able to learn from viewing on a screen is desirable.  The dates are: \nSaturday 2nd January (week 1) / Saturday 9th January (week 2) both at 15:00-16:00 \nEquipment Needed\nClogs or hard soles shoes are required\, plus a hard surface to dance on\, e.g. wooden floor\, flag stones. \nYour host\nGeorgia Shorrock dances with Hadrian Clog based in Hexham\, in the Tyne Valley\, Northumberland\, and perform a wide variety of clog and hard shoe dances from the North East and beyond. \nThey have taught at various festivals and events and love to share their dancing with anyone who will have a go!! \nTo register\nPlease complete this online form: Register for the Workshops – Clog Stepping for Beginners; you will receive a confirmation email immediately (check your spam/junk/promotions folder!).  We will send you a Zoom link a couple of days before the event.  Open to all – you don’t have to be a member of a team in The Morris Federation. \nThe Zoom link will be the same for the 2 sessions. \nOptional Donations\nIf you enjoy this event\, then it would be wonderful if you could send a donation\, small or large\, to the Parkinson’s UK registered charity: www.parkinsons.org.uk \nResources\nAfter the workshop Georgia kindly donated these resources: \n– to our YouTube channel: Lancashire Waltz danced by Georgia Shorrock (YouTube) \n– to our Notation Library: a folder containing Lancashire Waltz Dance Notation & Music (PDF)\, and Mrs Parker’s Waltz audio (MP3)
