Hornbeam Molly – an upbeat requiem

Hornbeam Molly will disband on July 19th, 2023, but with a sense of pride in our achievements, rather than defeat. Covid, injuries and recruitment problems have reduced our ability to represent ourselves at our best, so we feel a dignified bowing-out is better than struggling on in hope.

Our thanks go to all the teams who have invited us to their events or attended ours, and the many friends we have made over the years. Our mutually supportive interaction made even the most ordinary moments a shared pleasure.
We have developed continuously resulting in a rich mix of traditional molly dances nd ‘in-house’ creations that draw many appreciative comments. As imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you will understand our pleasure on seeing some of our figures being adopted by other teams.

So! With a sadness-tinged pride and no regrets: “It’s goodbye from me and goodbye from them”.
